On December 20^th 2023, Hoa Phat Group organized the handover ceremony for Vinafco's inaugural shipment at the newly invested container building project of Vinafco Shipping Joint Stock Company (VFC). The shipment originated from Hoa Phat Container Factory located in Phu My II Industrial Park Expansion, Phu My Town, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province.

The handover ceremony was attended by the Board of Directors of Hoa Phat Container Manufacturing Joint Stock Company and representatives of Vinafco Shipping Joint Stock Corporation.

Mr. Vu Duc Sinh, Director of Hoa Phat Container Manufacturing Joint Stock Company, said that Vinafco (VFC) is a long-standing logistics company in Vietnam that owns many advantages such as seaports, warehouses, and container shipping fleets etc. After this shipment, the two sides hope to continue to cooperate in supplying container shell products in the near future.

Hoa Phat utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and cutting-edge technology to design and manufacture container shells that fully comply with international standards. These containers meet all technical requirements for transcontinental goods transportation and are certified by the renowned international registry agency, Bureau Veritas, ensuring they meet all standards for seagoing containers.

Hoa Phat manufactures container shells according to Vinafco's specific requirements and preferences.

A Vinafco representative expressed satisfaction with the quality and appearance of these container shells, noting their adherence to detailed specifications. Additionally, the use of solvent-based paint enhances their durability and stability compared to water-based alternatives.

Looking ahead, Vinafco plans to explore future contracts with Hoa Phat. A company representative stated, "Acquiring new containers aligns with our equipment investment strategy. We anticipate continued collaboration with Hoa Phat, including joint research and development on specialized cargo container shells."

Previously, in October 2023, Hoa Phat delivered container shipments to Vietnam Maritime Corporation (VIMC) and fulfilled subsequent orders from New Way Lines, Vietsun, Topaz Marine, and Vsico.

Hoa Phat's container factory boasts a total capacity of 500,000 TEU/year, focusing primarily on 20- and 40-foot general cargo container products. Phase 1, with a capacity of 200,000 TEU/year, has been successfully completed and is operational. With this capacity, Hoa Phat stands as the largest ISO container equipment manufacturer in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
