Hoa Phat delivers inaugural product shipment to world's leading container leasing company
On July 4, 2024, Hoa Phat successfully delivered a shipment of 500 40 HC containers to SeaCube Container Leasing Company. This marks the first collaboration between Hoa Phat and SeaCube, a globally renowned container leasing company.

The handover ceremony was attended by the Board of Directors of Hoa Phat Container Manufacturing Joint Stock Company and representatives of the container inspection unit appointed by SeaCube.

Mr. Vu Duc Sinh, Director of Hoa Phat Container Manufacturing Joint Stock Company, expressed his admiration for SeaCube's position as a global leader in container rental and logistics solutions. With their extensive operational network, SeaCube offers standardized and reefer container rental services, catering to the diverse cargo transportation requirements of international customers. Following this successful shipment, both parties anticipate further cooperation in supplying additional container products in the near future.
The shipment was manufactured at Hoa Phat Container Factory, located in the Phu My II Industrial Park Expansion in Phu My Town, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province. During the container production process, Mr. Jorge P. Dias, Vice President of Operations & Procurement at SeaCube, visited and collaborated with Hoa Phat Container Company. During his visit, Mr. Jorge P. Dias highlighted the high demand for containers in Vietnam and expressed his hopes for continued collaboration between SeaCube and Hoa Phat, providing containers for the growing shipping market. Furthermore, he expressed his anticipation for larger orders from SeaCube to be placed with Hoa Phat in the near future.

The handover of this batch of containers not only affirms Hoa Phat's reputation in the container manufacturing industry, but also opens up opportunities for long-term cooperation with SeaCube, contributing to meeting the increasing needs of the international shipping market. Previously, Hoa Phat handed over container shipments to many large domestic and foreign partners.
Hoa Phat container factory has a total capacity of 500,000 TEU/year, focusing on 20 and 40 foot general cargo container products. Phase 1 with capacity of 200,000 TEU/year has been completed and put into operation. With this capacity, Hoa Phat is the largest manufacturer of ISO container equipment in Vietnam as well as Southeast Asia.
